Welcome

Wei He is now a PhD student at the International Institute for Earth System Science of Nanjing University. His research interests are the retrieving of forest structural parameters using both terrestrial and aerial laser scanning data and the application of lidar (light detection and ranging) in precision forestry. He works with Dr. Guang Zheng to characterize the plant 3D structure and radiaiton regime by combing the lidar data and radiation model . His master research focused on the leaf area index retrieval using the radiaiton model driven by optical remotely sensed data.
